Bride Hall overturns planning refusal for derelict Eastcote site 27/6/12

Bride Hall has been successful in its campaign to revitalise a derelict site in Eastcote town centre that was acquired in 2010. Planning permission, which was originally refused in October 2011, has now been granted by the Planning Inspectorate enabling the delayed regeneration of the site to come forward. The plans for this site involve a new Sainsbury’s Local store with 11 apartments above in a development that will bring life and vitality to the town centre.

Despite the trying economic situation over the last few years Bride Hall has been rewarded with its perseverance to realise new homes and job opportunities on a site that has remained vacant for a number of years.

Construction is now due to commence later this year with the transformation completed in Spring 2013.
